This is great for a library or media inventory/checkout system.

Each tile has a strip of colored tape on each edge, and are arranged in a square mosaic. The object of the game is to swap pairs of tiles until the colored tape on adjacent tiles match. The easiest setting - 9 tiles, 10 colors - is easy enough for most children, while the harder settings - more tiles, fewer colors - can challenge the most hardcore puzz'ler. You can set the creator type of the text files created, and tell the project whether to include the names of all objects and menus in the report, or just those with scripts. Script formatting is retained. The final report includes the number of lines, words, and characters per script, plus the grand totals of each. A total of all object types is included at the end of the report.

Full instructions on how to play are included on-line. Requires HyperCard 2.1 to play. Another fine product from InWare. ShareWare fee - a measly $7. I'ts not like you can't afford it! <p-p-please>.

Lively sounds, animations, and many plays add to the enjoyment of the game while the user is working fraction problems. Sound output can be turned off from within the stack (for use in a classroom setting). Fastball Fractions is the first in a series of math games from France & Associates. This is the demo version, which only contains the "Addition of Fractions" game. To get the full-featured version of Fastball Fractions, you should register the shareware from within the stack (you can print out a form, and mail it in with your shareware payment of $10). This stack requires Hypercard 2.0 or above.

Indeed, part of Eastgate's business is the publication of new hypertext efforts, for which the manual includes an appeal. While the prospect of writing hyper-literature may not thrill everyone, users will find that Storyspace can fit a great variety of needs: notepad, personal information management (PIM), computer aided instruction (CAI) authoring, database work, and more. This unique program is addictive and encourages constant and creative use, which I'd like to be able to say about more programs.

The availability is Jan 15, 1991. It overwrites both hard and floppy disks multiple times, which is required by National Security Agency guidelines for information classified up to Secret. This application requires a Macintosh computer, which should be at least a Macintosh Plus. This software systematically removes data from a disk. It ensures that you can sell or give away a disk, either hard or floppy disk, without leaving valuable information. The Viper does it in a manner to keep information from being retrieved by disk utilities or experienced hackers.

ListToField takes a comma delimited list and returns a 'return' delimited lit suitable for placing in a field. Yes, I know you can do this in HyperTalk but this is MUCH faster. The AddFields XFCN, takes two fields of numbers (may be integers or real) and adds them together, line by line. An optional 3rd parameter is a scaling factor that multipies each line of the first field before addition. These XFCN's work well together. I used them in my Nutrition stack to reduce math calculations from 11.1 seconds to 1.0 second!
